Flash content for Animal Planet's press kit (splash page and header). The splash page displays a 'salon' filled with contestants from the show. The viewer can pan left and right to view additional content, and contestants' names and other info appear in a thought bubble when they are rolled over. This splash page is based on a Model-View-Controller design pattern and builds its interface dynamically from XML data. Contestant portraits, copy, video, and other content can be changed at runtime merely by editing the XML. Developed in coordination with Discovery Creative's Webworks.
